Visual
Space vs. Dashboard
SpaceYour space is similar to a personalized website for your Org. By creating a space and editing/adding content, you create a unique platform that shows the world what you are working on. 

Dashboard

A Space on Member.buzz refers to the customizable website that your group uses to create content and manage members. Spaces are managed using its Dashboard (See Navigation).

Status

There are four Statuses that a person viewing your Space can have:

  • Visitor
    The user has not yet signed in.
  • Blocked
  • User
  • Member
  • Organizer
Capabilities

Controlling access to content on your site is accomplished through managing the capabilities of your Members.

Dashboard

A Space's Dashboard allows you to manage the content on your spaceThe Dashboard allows you to manage your Space.

NameDescription
Visual
Account DashboardProvides the overview of your space's activities, from ticket sales to revenue. It additionally provides information about your account type and specific roles you have within a space.
 
Profile DashboardThe profiles tab of your dashboard will showcase personal information about you personally. You can add other social links for people to view, a personal summary, relationship status, and more.
 
Content Section
This contains all of the Content Dashboards.
Article DashboardThe article tab of your dashboard is where you and any approved members can publish articles to display in your public space.
 Auction

Event Dashboard

The
auction tab of your dashboard is where you can auction off anything that you want, and hold the auction within your own space. This is also convenient because you can copy and paste the link to your auction, and post it on social media. 

Events Dashboard

The
event tab of your dashboard is where you can add/edit all events you want to display in your space.
 Expenses DashboardThe expenses tab of your dashboard will show all costs associated with members, so they may get reimbursed accordingly. Fundraisers Dashboard The fundraiser's tab of your dashboard is where you can hold any type of fundraising event in your space. This is exceptionally beneficial for member-based organizations because they now have a single tab and link to promote online fundraising. Invoices Dashboard
Invoice Dashboard The
The
invoice tab of your dashboard will showcase all costs associated with your space.
 Memberships
Membership Dashboard The membership tab of your dashboard will provide a list of what type of membership members have (paid, unpaid, alumnus, etc.)
. Newsletters DashboardThe newsletter tab of your dashboard will be used to provide up-to-date information about your organization to your members. Spaces Dashboard The spaces tab of your dashboard is where you can manage all of the different spaces you have with your account (personal blog, club, business, non-profit, etc

People Section
This contains all of the People Dashboards.
Contacts DashboardThe contacts tab of your dashboard will show all of the contact information for your members, and any non-members who want to receive information about your organization.
 
Members DashboardThe member's tab of your dashboard will show all of the members within your organization.
 
Manage Section
This contains all of the space Managing Dashboards.
Files DashboardThe files tab within your dashboard shows you all the files you have uploaded to your space.
 
Payments Dashboard The payments tab of your dashboard shows you all of the payments made by members, raised from fundraisers and auctions, and any disputed charges. Once you add a bank account, you can withdrawal all of the money form your space, into your personal or business account.
 
Recycle DashboardThe recycle tab of your dashboard allows you to recover any and all files you may have accidentally deleted.
 
Design Dashboard
DesignThe Designer is where you will input and edit any and all content for your space.
 
Setup Dashboard
SetupThe Setup tab on your dashboard is used to set up the basic properties of your site and to enable or disable modules.
