Custom fields can be created in three different places:
Fields can be added in the settings for each Content type. These will appear in the checkout for all items.
Fields can be added for a specific piece of Content. These will appear only in the checkout for the one item.
Varying degrees of Memberships can be assigned to a Space's Members.
